Strut Brace For My 240k

Hi,

I finally finished making and installing my strut brace today.

only costed about $40ish in parts + my time

that looks noice!!! what did you source the main bits from??? wouldn't a R31 fit??? same size bay!?

The main cross pipe is a piece or water pipe, it has thicker walls, the 'supports', I made these, I drew them up in Autocad and had them laser cut and I welded it all together.

I have no idea if a R31 would fit, since I don't know anyone with a R31 to look at.

Does it help immediately with 'turn in'? It was the best thing I ever had made & fitted to an Alfa Romeo 164Q. It brought a smile to my face when I could turn corners without wavering.

I'm not wanting to make any more, (it took me long enough to pull my finger out to do this one) but I will give you the link to the cad file I made of the base part, and if you look at my website (above), it show how the bits fit together
