"Skylineakt" came up with the idea of a cruz and go-kart day. I work at AusKarts in Port Melbourne, so if you are interested, i can probably organise something. We have certain package deals where you can either walk in and do 18-25-30-40-50-60 laps, or we can organise a grand-prix day with trophies and medals and s&%t, but that is a little more expensive. 18 laps usually costs $25, hopefully i'll be able to tweak that out to a few more laps than that tho. But i will speak to a few people and see what i can come up with, and let you know in a few days...

Anyone keen?

5 liter how many people can be on the track at once??

Is there a limit??

What kind of go-kart?? LIKE HOW FAST?? hehe

I'm keen but just got to watch out for the weather. Don't think some people want to cruise and gokart in the rain. Tho will be damn fun on the track if it is raining!!! Sideway ACTION!!

I'm keen, but will need to be a weekend... pref. 4-5/10 OR 18-19/10, etc. COZ i work every 2nd Sat. ALL sunday's are fine !

Basically organise it for whenever you can, and if I can make it I will... if however you organise it on a day that I can't come due to work commitments, I WON'T LOVE YOU ANY MORE! :D

I just sent a load of info to "skylineakt" and hopefully it will be organised ASAP. A little info for those wondering, the karts have an AWESOME 6.5hp at the rears! They will get up to 60kph over the start/finish line, and slide around corners quite nicely... :(

Firstly, we need numbers of who's interested, then we organise the right package for the group (including a trophy for the winner!). Otherwise there are arrive and drive packages where you show up, pay and drive. No trophies for the winners tho....

Thanks for the info 5 litre eater. Should I start a new tread and start letting people know??

There seem to be a few other events and things going on in the next few weeks - Skid pan day, Phillip Island, Heathcote etc etc.

Might have to wait till next month. What do you guys think??

    • I would not be surprised if you are the only person on earth that has the interest/desire to do that lol.  The Haltech base map is a really good starting point, the car will fire easily and drive very well, even on mild boost levels. To me, following your advice sounds like some sort of ancient Chinese water torcher lol (this is not an insult Josh, never change <3)
    • Those car show concepts from the 2000's and 2010's like the Floria and IDx were brilliant and should've gone ahead, at least one of them. But neither Honda nor Nissan are thinking about affordable performance any more, which is truly sad.  Even if Toyota's liquid hydrogen ICE development reaches the point where it's commercially viable and the infrastructure to support it, Honda/Nissan would have to wait until Toyota allow fee access to their patents to offer it with any smaller performance models they released to take advantage of it.
    • A sporty manual RWD coupe with a IL4 Honda engine would only be a good thing I assume we won't see anything released for a few years though, unless informal talks and designs have been going on for a few years,  and due to the current, and future, emmisions and safety requirements, I assume anything "sporty" they would do would be at least some hybrid thingie And hopefully anything they are thinking of has nice lines, without lots of plastic and fake bits hanging off it like that horrendous FK8 that looked like it was designed by a 13 year old The other issue of course in the current market is cost, currently the type R is around $70k, a twin is around $50k Meh, I'm old and grumpy and would rather buy a older model car and waste my coin on that than buying anything currently available new
