Hey,

I've got an RB25 head with standard inlet runners.

It is missing the fuel rail and injectors.

So the standard injectors are side feed, is that dictated by the fuel rail or the inlet?

Basically, do I have the option of converting to top feed? If so, what is involved? Is it just a matter of buying top feed injectors and a rail to suit (like an RB20 rail).

Is there any benefit to either type?

Here's my std RB25DET intake that we made work with Indy's (1600's). We drilled out the injector seat to suit and used the factory rubber bushes for some extra support for the body of the injector. The bracket on the top feed rail uses the factory spacers to get the right height. It was a bit of work to do properly but looks/works great.
