hi all

i have a 32 gtst stock,

currently running stock springs.

im lookin at lowering the car to possibly lowest legal height (10cm i think?) or just a lil higher

i been lookin and hear about coilovers and apparently they are really good overall

they are quite dear aswell, but im only after some springs that are needed for street as i wont be doin any track work

and also ive notice people say certain coilovers are too stiff and hard for street use, eg feeling lil bumps along the road

wat would yous recommend? i drive roads around the gold coast so theres hardly any rough streets to drive in

wat stiffness would i need?

also what are good springs to use and decent on prices??

thanks

if all you wanna do is lower it. go to any tyre/suspension joint and get some king springs put in... rough cost is about 350 with springs and labour. while youre at it cause its a 32 and getting a lil old check your shockers and see if they aint shagged...

ISC N1 coilovers = $1499

If your just after springs we can supply whiteline, king, tein, etc

As above, don't drop it to much if your just changing the spring as you will bugger your stock shocks and the ride wouldn't be overly comftable either.

Also the further you lower it the more you stuff up the alignment. You need to compensate by adding adjustable bushes or arms throughout the suspension so you can get it back to something sensible.

Also as stated; lowered springs + standard shocks = FAIL
