Hey guys i was hoping someone could tell me who i could order this body kit through. Its the sunline racing wide body kit which includes both the rear and front fenders aswell as side skirts (i think). Its a sweet kit, if you look up picks of their demo car it looks pretty nice. Anyway i was wondering if someone knew who i could order it through and roughly how much itl cost. I live in Adelaide SA, is there somone here who i could order through, or else someone on the net? Any help would be much appreciated.

I just checked out sunlines's site and by the looks of that kit, and judging by what some of the other big name kits cost, i am going to venture to say that kit is about 5 grand and would have a 6 week lead time as im sure its made to order.

F that.

but i could be completely wrong, maybe its 900 bucks and available on ebay and just LOOKS like a 5K JDM GT quality kit.

reference: the BeeR R34 front end kit is 6500 bucks or more.

Just go up to Nagoya and wait til ol' shotgun Tezuka balls one up and offer to take the parts off their hands. Craziest bastard in D1 by a long shot.

to the OP, i have seen you have asked about 34 widebodies a couple times.

you can piece and pick and put together your own "kit" if you keep your eyes peeled. im sure you get option magazine in OZ. there are about 15-20 different body part vendors in there. you would be suprised how good it could look if you snag for example, and abflug rear bumper, dmax front fenders, vertex rears, ect ect, then paint the whole car satin black and throw some vynil on it and youll be shitting all over that sunline car.

just look around. a lot of the companies like tra-kyoto are just piecing together other peoples stuff, adding a part of 2 of their own and calling it a kit. but i urantee that sunline kit is at least 5 grand.

Thanks for all the help guys, now ive got a direction to head in lol, ill start collecting parts, itl be fun watching it slowly come together. If anyone has any more info on new parts or where to get them please keep me posted. Also the car is currently Ferrari red, should i keep it like that or change it to black. I really like the red cause its a bit different so im inclined to keep it like that, but id likes some votes for or against it lol.

    • I'd want an even MORE side on view. More or less you want to make sure the outlet is actually square with the outermost part of the bumper. Or you end up getting soot all over your bumper from your hektik exhaust. In any case, it looks pretty close. I think the way to fix this is probably more of an overhaul at an exhaust specialty shop if you want tips that are rounded off or sit nicely with the bumper but have proper clearance and don't move - Probably more of a redesign than a quick fix. I've pencilled in my own exhaust with its own various problems, pinholes, PITA fitment, and other issues and can see myself going to a shop and saying "JUST DO THIS BUT BETTER?"  Which is gonna work better than any more small fixes. I'm gonna chime in here officially with "from an outsider perspective this exhaust looks fine so this is self OCD probably" (which I also suffer from)
    • Reminds me I really need to install that HKS oil cooler I bought years ago.
    • It be 40°C outside lately. 10W60 is a good idea here. Well, certainly 10W50.
    • Here are some side on's.
    • I just did an oil change on my daily which used oil that is probably 2-3 years old. Normally I try to follow exact viscosities, but my LS400 is fairly tolerant. Dumped something like half a quart of 0W30 Mobil1 ESP X2 in there, followed by 2 quarts Pennzoil 5W30, followed by ~1.2 quarts of liquimoly 5W30 LL04 spec oil. Then the rest was QS euro 5W40 which is actually so thin it's basically a 30 weight oil. All this is to say it doesn't matter that much. We aren't talking about brake fluid. For an RB I would recommend a high ZDDP oil because it doesn't use rollers in the interface between the cam and valve, but a 5W30 or 5W40 is fine to use for street use. The 10W60 guidance really only applies if you're getting it hot and pushing the engine hard.
