Z32 Afm

im about to buy this z32 air flow meter but.. theres only mesh on one side the guy said

'Yeah depends on what year they were made in, this is a later model one, and like the Q45 AFMS they stopped putting the rear mesh on the later models.'

is that true?

run it like backyard performance... remove the mesh entirely =D

It should be fine, the series 2 afms i've seen (1995+) only have the mesh on 1 side, whereas my old r32 afm has it on both sides. The Q45 afm I had also only had it on 1 side

hmmm my S2 AFM only had one side and its been fine?but my Tomei Z32 afm had 2 sides of mesh ....
