philta
hi all i need some new rear tires and in the past ive manage to get some pretty decent tires for good prices. have any1 changed their tires recently and know what to recommend and where to buy it from? i used to get quoted on sumitomo htr z3 for $235 now its like they have all gone up and you can only get china tyres for that price. thanks Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/241239-2554017/ Share on other sites

Levi_
Access Autoworks has Federal 255/40/17 595 SS @ $146 each -- http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Ty...es-t205076.html You'd be looking at about $100 postage I would say, plus fitting. Give me a yell if you find any other good deals because I'm in the market for either 245/255/265 for my rears. philta
tried west state. dunno got the 300ish mark. best perth prices so far is 229 for maxxis MAV1. with postage thats still pretty cheap, want to share the postage cost with me levinet? i need 2 for the rears too dam camber wear, i dont want to get camber arms since its at a perfect 2 deg on mine Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/241239-2554017/#findComment-4216734 Share on other sites
Levi_
4 X 255/40/17 595 SS @ $146 each = $584 Shipping: $220 Total: $804 / 2 = $402 for each of us. But remember you'll still need to factor in fitting costs. Though I have heard great things about the 595's and I'm pretty sure they'll be better than the MAV1's. So if you're up for it, I would be to, you'll just need to give me a little bit of time to get my money together. Not sure how much shipping is for just the 2 tyres, so it may not actually be any cheaper to combine the orders, I'll PM him and ask... I have a set of 255/17 on the GTR and I can say they are punching above their weight in terms of price. $146 each! thats a bargain and a half Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/241239-2554017/#findComment-4218878 Share on other sites
