Rb26 With Rb25 Gearbox?

hey guys im doing a conversion to my silvia just a few questions

what bellhousing bolts do i use rb26 or rb25?

also what plate do i use(the one that sits between engine and gearbox) rb26 or rb25?

and is there anything else that i have to wory about?

mate the 26 and 25 bolts as far as i know are exctly the same and the 25 and 26 backing plates are slightly different in thickness depends on starter motor i think... could possibly be the same i havent really checked... lol anthony at the same time i like that

25 gear box bolts and 25 or 26 plate doesnt matter just depends if you use a 25 or 26 starter motor then you have to match..

We un-bolted my RB25 box from my RB26

Bolted it back up with all the same stuff in the ice cream box 12months later.

No problems.

RB25 and 26 bolts are exactly the same

Back plates are both the same except GTR has a small cut out for the front driveshaft.

Either one will work for you. Starter motors are swapsies too

The boxes are basically identical interally besides the extra diff

The diff is at the front and back of the car...not in the gearbox
