i just went and picked up my brother from school (5km drive) and i noticed that when the car was pointing straight, the steering wheel wasn't..

when i went to straighten it up the car pulled to the right..

any thoughts as to what has happened?

it hasnt been like this ever before, and i didnt like hit any kids on the way or anything :)

but yeah any help/ideas would be greatly appreciated :)

im thinking wheel alignment issues

check your tyres for feathering on the outer edges of the tread. run your hand one way across the tyre, then back again

if theres more resistance going one way its an alignment issue

...that or you did hit a kid and bent a control arm but dont want to tell anyone

Many moons ago when I still had HICAS and it fubar'd itself, it would do this - does the car get a bit squigley you floor it and get to about 80kmh?

It would also tilt the wheel to the same angle but on the opposite side when I reversed out of the driveway.

bubba,

yeh buddy i had a similar thing - messed up,

i had a peak under it in the day light and one of the rear control arms had cracked :| and as a result the camber on one of the wheels was insane haha,

im guessing the 16 year old control arms just gave up the other day..

she's been towed to the shop and hopefully back on the road shortly :(

..f**king primary school kids :(
