Price drop to $16K.

It's going without the NOS Kit for $16k and $17k with it.

CONDITION:

102,000kms regular servicing including transmission and diff.

Presently the car has a crease in the rear bumper and a few minor scratches, which will cost about $500-600 to clean up properly and the price reflects this. Interior is good. and it has a factory 7disc CD stacker/tuner and drivers airbag.

MODS.

* K&N Airfilter and modified airbox

* HKS exhaust cam gear

* Ogura Racing Chrome Molly flywheel

* 9 puck ceramic compound clutch

* FGK Super Ti cat back exhaust (very quiet and flows well)

* Custom Stainless steel turbo dump pipe and front pipe, with thermal wrapping.

* Apexi Super AFC II and sought after 95' ecu

* Peltier cooler on standard intercooler.

* Whiteline KCA349 diff cradle kit.

* Bosch Motorsport in tank fuel pump

* NOS EFI Nitrous kit (hidden underbonet) with 10lb bottle and 100hp jets. New nitrous solenoid.

The last outing saw the car run 13.3 and has since had a major tuning issue resolved which will has it making easy 12 second power. With larger decent rear tyres fitted 12's will not be a problem without NOS. The NOS activation offers the potential for low 12's and with the simple fittment of the 100hp jet an 11second pass.

morboost,

I'm afraid I can't ask more than $16k for it, otherwise I pay capital gains tax on the sale next financial. It's just a bit of a 'freak deal', most of the time 95' models like mine will go for over $21k (you can quote me on that for people with issues on your price).

if it's 100% business use claimed like mine. I tell the tax dept. that my car is worth less each year and get a deduction out of it. If all of a sudden I sell my car for 6K more than I told them it was worth last year they make me pay tax on the profit as a form of income.

why sell it that cheap now when i sell my car people will be like but i can get one with nos for $17,000 please put the price up to at least $21,000 thanx

lol.. considering its all tax purposes, somebody's gonna get a bargain..

post a pic rev210 so we can all look at this creature.. Not that i'm going to buy it (as i have an R33 already)...but a pic always helps on a sale :D

???? I don't follow your thinking. If you sell it for what it's worth, then you make a profit, of which you pay (up to) 48% in tax. You still keep (at least) 52% of the profit. It's still money in your pocket.

If it's written down value is $16k, and you sell it for $21k, you pay (about) $2500 tax, so end up with $18.5k out of the deal. If you sell it for $16k, then you pay no CGT, but end up with only $16k in your pocket. I know which I'd rather have.

Warps,

I need lots of help this financial to drop into a lower tax bracket, as my car is paid for via a 'car allowance' that attracts no tax throughout the year, if deductions aren't low enough then big tax payments are order of the day.

there is no cgt on cars however if its written down value is $16 and u sell for more ( say 18 k ) u pay normal income tax on the 2k , if u sell for 14 k u deduct the 2 k loss from u r income so less tax .

u dont tell the ato what u r car is worth every year either , this is how u work out its value .

full purchase price and u depriciate it 22.5 % every year , if u bought today for 20 k in three years its value ( for tax purporses ) it will be $9309 .

what some people do ( i'm not saying that u should do this its not moral or legal )say sell the car for $12k get the buyer to pay a cheque for 9 k and 3 k cash , the pocket the 3 k and no one knows .

    • Convert to dual filament bulb   FWIW, it will look odd - I dare say a bit dumb as it looks like your flasher relay has shit the bed.
    • If the RB20 box in the car is a push clutch, then yes, you will need to deal with the pull clutch on the turbo box. You either buy a pull clutch and don't use the old one, or you do the things needed to convert the turbo box's clutch arrangement over to push. Which is a bit of a f**karound. "Making" a custom tailshaft is the easy part. But you will need to source the front clip yoke - the bit that goes into the output of the gearbox. These are not as easy to find. They are out there, but they don't grow on trees the way that they used to.
    • Indicator bulbs are way too bright to use as a "corner marker" (we call them parking lights too). Sure. Go ahead and do it. But realise that you wil need to come up with all your own wiring to do it, as no-one will have a standard howto worked out for Skylines. It's just a matter of abandoning everything that Nissan have done and starting from scratch. You'd probably be better off retrofitting tailght/brakelight globe bases into the front indicator housings and using the taillight circuit for your corner marker and the brake light as the indicator. You'd need to work out how to kill the marker circuit while the indicator is flashing, otherwise it won't flash on-off, just bright-less bright.
    • Hi. A little bit of an update. It maybe(hope not) looks like i would need a new tranny(it would be "maybe" a cheaper or better option anyway) So i need some info. I know i need a different propshaft(i can make custom one) LSD is not a problem cuz the engine will be still(for now) N/A RB20. So if i buy RB25DET NEO tranny...is there something else i need? I read something about push/pull type but i do not know if i need to "change" something or i can just plug n play onto my engine a go? Thanks for the advice
    • Good morning all, Bit of a random question but figured I’d finally throw it out after wondering for a long while. Before I start, I'm hoping to do this purely out of personal preference. I think it would look better at night, and don't mind at all spending a few hours and dollars to get it done. I've copied this from a non-Skyline specific forum, so I apologize for the explanation of our headlight switch setup that we all know. Here we go: Zero lights (switch off) Parking lights (switch position 1) being a rectangular marker on the outside of the housing, my low beam being the projector in the centre (position 2), and a high beam triggered by my turn signal stalk. Most North American cars I’ve owned of this era have power to the amber corner (turning indicator) light as part of the first switch (parking lights). I’d love to have these amber corners receive power when the headlights and parking lights are on (headlight switch), yet still blink when using the turn signal which is of course a separate switch. Hopefully I’ve explained my question correctly. Is anyone aware of a way in which I might be able to achieve this? Thanks in advance
