Does This Steering Wheel Have An Airbag?

hey guys,

quick question... I was considering getting a new steering wheel as my current one is pretty worn... just checking my options of fixing up my current one with retrimming or getting an aftermarket one... which rests on whether my car currently has an airbag or not...cuz I don't want the cops to nab me...

this is my current steering wheel - from an r33 s1 gts4, apparently I have heard these are the factory sport option wheels. I have checked in the engine bay fuse box and cabin fuse box but have not found any airbag fuses.. anywhere I can tell?

Just had another read of my cabin fuse cover and manual.... turns out I was reading the cover the wrong way round!

so the car supports airbags.... but does this steering wheel have one?

hmmm...interesting... thats what I thought as well... so why does the car have an airbag fuse?

The one pictured doesn't have the airbags, it was an option on series 1, standard on series 1.5 and 2.

The fuse slot is for whoever has optioned the airbag on theirs when new.

Adam,

It's fine as long it's no less than 330mm (vicroad VS21 or something) as required by law, but I've never know someone got nabbed for the steering wheel that doesn't have the airbag equipped to start with.
