Front Caliper Brake Line Broken

Hi, on my r33 S2 the front calliper brake line the metal s looking part broke and all the fluid went everywhere. i replaced it and the breke pedal has gone soft. Is this because i lost to much fluid from one line and i need to flush the system with new fluid?

Yes, you lost fluid and let air into the system. You need to bleed the brakes properly now. I'm surprised it even stops after that, do it asap as its dangerous the way it is

Did any fluid get onto the pads? If so you might need to replace them.

nah i checked the pads and ye none got on them so its alright

i have bled the system now and the pedal is reasonable but still not as hard as before the line was broken. Is there somewhere else where there still could be air left besides the four lines?

just go to a brake joint dude and get it done properly. pay 100 bucks and have peace of mind. i wouldnt f**k around with brakes myself.

left car overnight this morning pedal is back to being hard. dont noe wat happend but ye its alright now and stopping and fine and not pulling to any side
