Sorry to hear this mate. Will be keeping my eyes open for it. While its completely stoke, is there anything we could use to identify it. EG: SAU stickers, stratch on front bumper? Just anything that could be used to identify it from all the other silver S15's out there.

I did see a silver S15 on my lunch break, roughly 11:45am today driving down Elizabeth St in the city. Unfortunately I hadn't seen this thread yet so I didnt pay it any attention, could just be any other S15.

Hope you get it back mate.

Oh dude that sucks hard, i haven't seen it in greensy/eltham/monty area in ages, will keep an eye out, hope it was insured for a nice agreed value? On the + side it might end up saving you the job of selling the car? That's so wack

sorry guys, i dont know what condition the car is in now!

but picture a pewter s15 that rolls off the production line back in 2001.... and thats what mine looked like!

no scratches, no dints, no damage no stickers

when it was stolen it had a brand new red leaf air freshner hanging from the rearview mirror.

just been tire shined, wheels had small amounts of gutter rash, but nothing huge

and whole car was immaculately clean!

still no word from the cops, so either he still has it, or its been dumped and no one has found it!

Not exactly relevant but shows just how bad car theft is recently

Snippet From: http://www.smh.com.au/articles/2008/09/12/1220857778801.html

On September 11, 2008 a man was shot in the leg, tasered in the face and neck and robbed at a Bunnings car park in Sydney's south-west last night, police say.

The 27-year-old victim and a 23-year-old friend arranged to meet with a group of men interested in buying a car at the hardware store car park in Casula about 9.45pm.

Although wouldn't you think it's a bit suspicious to arrange a meet at 9:45PM? But anyway point of this is just don't trust anyone!

I have to agree...you can't trust nobody.

he would have sounded on the phone as really interested as the next person...but it still have to be ballsy to take off in the car. The good thing is that your not hurt.

I'll keep my eye out for the car (I doubt that they would be driving the car around with the custom plates but you never know how stupid people can be)

I hope you do find the car with no damage so you don't have to spend the money fixing it up.

if the guy is out to steal a car do you think he is going to hand you his correct licence?

of course not!!! the only thing if he was going to use his real licence, it might have been avoided as he would have gotten scared

but if he was planning to steal it, then he would have fake ID and plently of fake stuff to go

whats a fake ID for when he clearly wasnt worried about showing his face?

dude seriously just get in a car and go for a drive around broadmeadows, campbellfield, upfield, glenroy, roxburghpark.

Not exactly the same thing but yesterday my uncle who has a POS vp commodore which he drives to the train station to go to the city; he came back at night and started the car which made a huuuge roar sound.

He called the RACV and found out someone stole his cat converter; A f*kn cat converter for like 30bux jeeeezuz.

Anyways im still keeping an eye out for your car; saw a white gt spec and a black one last night but thats it.

lmfao, what a waste of an effort stealing a cat from a vp commo

Paul, how many people have access to produce a genuine looking fake Victorian Drivers License?

As Ant said no license no drive. What if the potential buyer was genuine, but crashed the car on the test drive, then turns around and states that he has no license, or does a runner from the accident and leaves you picking up the bill for both cars.
