R32 Gtr Bov Problems

Hey guys, just thought i would pick your brains and hopefully someone can help me out. Ive just put a new (pretty much standard RB26 engine) into my 32 GTR, its in getting tuned as we speak although i ran into a few problems getting the car to run properly first resulting in me having to go back to standard BOV's. Now thats sorted, my mechanic is telling me i need something he calls a "Y Plug" that plums off the BOV or something similar? Now the car has been there for weeks so im pretty keen to get it back. Does anyone know exactly what this part is and why its so hard for my mechanic to get his hands on one? Or where i may be able to get it asap?? Ive called a few places but no one has any idea what im talking about lol Any help would be great thanx

what setup? what turbos? what intake? what bovs? how is the engine different from standard?
