Service Wastegate

anyone know if its possible to reco/service an old hks ext wastegate?

if u know of any places can u let me know

feeling a bit poor at the moment dont really want to fork out 500-600 on a new gate just to scare people off their bikes and old ladies

perhaps buy a cheap hks copy on ebay and swap the parts over ?

I assume its the diaphragm that dead?

Otherwise... all thats left is a spring and a value... easy to replace

just opened it up doesnt seem to bad diaphragm isnt rip or anything but looks old, is that alright?

theres a bit of rust inside just clean that up i guess. also have a hks copy somewhere aswell guess ill just mix and match parts if things come to worse. anything i should take into account when doing all this?

make sure the spring is seated right (not sure how the HKS setup works)

If the spring doesn't seat right you'll have all sorts of dramas (if thats a problem with HKS gates)
