na, I was thinking the guy that started a similar thread not long ago that had a so called cop (Hot Fuzz) respond to it

a stated at the start i am new to this whole import/performance thing, so please excuse my out look.

and no i was'nt on here b4 with a differnt name.

its ok sweet, welcome anyway to the home of SAU SA where.............. i should stop now but welcome.

but to us this is a very funny topic

cheer for the welcome. and the only reason i posted this topic is to get a bit of thought from others about the subject. many ppl complain about anti hoon laws and police harassment but noone wants to stand up and say we need more than one place to go a month...... like i said just testing the waters. :) chose the wrong subject but......

they wont do it but you can try andtry but it will fall on deaf ears your best bet would be to go see klem and ask for more track days and with enough people that want more he might open it 2 time pr month cause he does love his money

good luck

how many ppl would be up for that. from what i understand most track days have limits on the amount of cars, and they book out really quick. if there were more days open would it minimise the dick heads on the streets .... i think it would, that may cause less police fines for all of us!!

i think Clem needs to re-surface the track podgy old bastas.... yesm. Welcome Aboard Mick

valiant idea buy yeah councils don't want to listen if they get us all off the street they loose revenue

they really don't care about safety like they would have to general public think

its a pitty all import owners are tarnished with the same brush. it sux a bit cause drifting is one of the fastest growing sports in australia ( the world for that matter) it would be nice if some of the local parliment members got on board for us.... they would get my vote :)

:) this is funny  it will never happen not while there is mallala and the cops have hoon laws

Will never happen. EOI does not = numbers.

You keep beating that dead horse ... you'll end up beating your head against a wall. There is a new motorsport park in the works. In a few years we might have more opportunity. But right now? ... nope.

create a new park open it up after hours, $20 entry, cops will just put defect stations out the front! we are all labeled, undoing a lable of imports being hooons will never happen, your trying to fight through a council, when the gov(popo) will jsut destroy it at the end of the day!

like ppl have said bud WELCOME

on a bad note theres realistically no hope of this happening, just think if 1 driver loses the car into a couple hundred ppl...

i even think getting more track days will be a push, due to consistent numbers of ppl the way it is now clem knows that itll be pretty much full every even if he bumps it up to 2 nights per month theres a high possiblity of the cars spreading out over the 2 events and not being filled and therefore not being viable.

gazanats was on the weekend so we may only be a few months away from A.I.R opening up for drift prac days again keep that in mind!

well there is lala! the streets are for the public and it shouldn't be closed off for something like drifting especially when there's a venue/controlled environment for it already!

if you don't agree then tough bickies because that's the way it is!
