Here it is guys, this one is half cruise, half adventure :)

The run is over Mt Nebo, all the way to the end. We then head north to Kilcoy for lunch (the real Grand Touring road). Lunch is at the Exchange pub in Kilcoy which serves fantastic meals for a good price. Then we head over Mt Mee, and back through Samford, and we are pretty much back where we started. Overall it will probably take 3-4hrs. A few of us did the run recently and it was awesome, we stuffed around quite a bit and it took 4hrs.

Mt Nebo - a tight long mountain run that is good fun at low speed.

Mt Nebo to Kilcoy - single lane highway, open road with some nice sweepers.

Kilcoy to Mt Mee - a bit of everything really.

Mt Mee to Samford - back to civilisation.

Day : Sunday 5th October

Time : 11:30 am

Meeting Place : School Rd, The Gap, Brisbane. Check the refidex.

Depart : 12:00pm.

Bring - A bottle of water and maybe some lollies or light snacks for the drive to Kilcoy.

CB radio. If you dont have one, buy one - A Uniden one.

A full tank of fuel.

Man, that is the cheapest I have ever heard of....he really does have love in his heart. Is it cheaper if you don't take the skid pan part?

Will be there, have to hurry up and get the front coil overs rebuilt soon then! (or else I may falling off the road every now and then).

Shot gun behind you slip...uh, on the run that is.

I should be able to make it BelGarion - I'm at Nerang.

Can I suggest we leave much earlier by any chance? There's a lot of traffic on those roads on Sunday especially at that time. I generally do those roads on my bike really early.

But if it has to be 11.30, who am I to argue...

Where will the Gold Coast contingent meet?

Thats a really good point, i only ever do glorious very early in the morning, sometimes where lucky and the roads are still wet in some places.... but yes i love it, its like meditation for me.

I'm far too excited. Slip said the magic 'N' word :(:) :)

Going to need to put my new wheels on and test em b4 then, and maybe switch my rear pads.

Jason, If one's still available, could I borrow a UHF from you on the day?

I'll call you next time we head out for a run if you're interested...
