Happened to me once when I had my GTi. It sux, theres not much u can do except pay to get it fixed unfortunately.

The scum bags that do these thibgs should be shot!

Shooting is a bit harsh don't you think? I mean it is pretty permanent. Would you settle for castration? More pain and lasts a lifetime!

cheers

Hahaha, +1 for Jigsaw :(

His so gangdur ..

Anyways, any news on how the glass repair is going ?

MRXTCZ

yea man it sucks not having any help what so ever.. specially when u love it more than ur life.. my heart when cold for a sec when i saw it..

yea i got few quotes from here 'n there.. the best one was from Obrian.. after market new glass for 240 installed.. racv quoted 235 for a second hand.. so i went with Obrian..

now i need to find a place to tint.. i have a very dark tint which is above the legal limit so hav to go to a dodgy place who does those stuff..

by the looks of it.. it was definitely done on jealousy not on theft.. east side was much better..

btw i dun care if its permanent or not i really dun mind shooting that sh!t bag..

they should be able to tint your sides however dark you want as i did to match my tint from japan. its the drivers and passengers windows that you have to be legall about. avoid the dodge place or at least go to someone good who does it in their driveway..lol.

I know what I'd do if I caught up with the s.o.b.

But to help other SAUers with a salient warning, can I ask if

a) it was night-time?

b) if so, between what time frame?

c) were there other cars around?

d) were there any valuables in sight thru your tints or better still thru your front windscreen (even with a torch)?

e) did the sob rifle your glove box?

f) is it a well patronised shopping centre?

I wish we could welcome you in a better way than this - but on the +ve side, you'll never forget it!

Cheers,

Tez
