Whining Noise

Hey all, a noise started comin from my gearbox just the other day its like a whining noise sounds like a gilma put ur foot down it starts to whine quicker lol put the clutch in and it goes away, it is not the thrust bearing as i just put a new clutch and thrust bearing in and hav drivin like 1500km's on it, my mate reakons there is another part on opposite side to the tb, its like a $6 part or something but im unsure. Its an r33 s1 by the way anyone hav any clues of wat it could be i am planning on pulling the box off next week so i can sort it out do u reakon i am doin my car any damage driving like it is cheers jarad

i think the $6 part your refering to is the spigot bearing?
