Where Can I Get An Autometer Water Temp Sensor From?

hey guys,

i need this:

but for auto meter pro comp water temp (F) gauge

i was changing over to silicone hoses n accidently snapped off the copper (i think) cable right where the cone shaped sensor is... i dont think i can weld it due to the position of the crack, id rather replace it then risk a wrong reading...

any ideas apart from autobarn??

im thinking its going to expensive, might be cheaper to buy a whole new unit (my ones cover seen better days)
