Gday,

Having a few dramas with the skyline atm, fixing wires and stuff but today i found an unplugged box sitting on the rear parcel shelf of the skyline.

Its a little grey box that sits on the drivers side of the parcel shelf, adjacent to the right speaker. Does anyone know what this box is for??????? should i have left it unplugged? i was thinking it might be hicas related????

the HICAS ECU is bolted UNDER the parcel tray. Correct?

i have a similar grey box in a bracket mounted above the strut top on the parcel tray, which i unplugged when changing the suspension and failed to plugged back in for a week or so. Didn't notice any changes or problems, is this the box your referring to silver1992?

there is nothing on the parcel shelf. Are you talking about underthe parcel shelf accessible from behind the rear seat back or accessible only from the boot

he is talking about the box on the driver side held by that little bracket on accesible from in the cabin.... thats what i think anyhow.... i found mine unplugged a while back i just plugged it back in.

the standard amp hey! , well i didnt know that... weird. thats a pretty small amp i might add! he he he, maybe i could sell it anyone hhehehehhe ;)

but hang on a minute, why when i plugged it in did i get uncontorable wheel spin through 1st and 2nd gears no matter how easy i took off? :)

No its not an amp, i know the box your refering to, it has several wires on the plug.

Orange - to the front of the car somewhere

Black - Ground

Grey - Goes to the Restistor pack near the Jack &Power Antenna

Lt Blue - Goes to Fuel Pump and to the top plug on the boot fuse/relay box (which then goes to the blue relay on the side of that box which is for the fuel pump), it also goes to the front of the car somewhere ..

I hope this helps you out
