^your right

Just needed to speak to the right person. Glen at Mtq is very helpful.

Looks like i will be going the real gt3076 IW + turbo housing, only problem is there very hard to get at the moment from garrett and i am looking at a 2 month wait. However thats perfect for me to save and not need a loan. Then all i needs is the oil/water lines and dump. I think i have finally got my head around this shit.

Thanks to everyones opinions they have been very helpful.

If looking at a budget bolton you could also go a stock turbo TO4 V-trim mod. Will give you about 240-250rwkw at fairly low boost.

Take the stock R34 RB25 turbo. Machine out the exhaust tubine 'snout' to about 52mm and fit a TO4V trim compressor wheel on (machine compressor housing). You can leave the cermaic turbine in place as the shaft speed is much lower to produce airflow and the machined tubine snout offers plenty of clearence.

I'm guessing around $400 worth including V-trim wheel & machine work, ask the turbo place for a quote.

Stop making my decisions difficult :ninja:

the 3076 IW should make more then that and sounds like its alot easier.

Ha ha. ;)

The stock turbo can be removed and installed by yourself in the garage. Get a second hand R33 turbo and you can use that to do you mod while you drive about.

The turbo change can be done using basic tools in your driveway. It's a stock turbo afterall so no customer bits at all :)

How many pony's you got and what setup Karl. Going for a ride would help alot in terms of power goals and response. I live in Yokine but i am always SOR with the gf. Where abouts you located?

should be nice pat, just make sure u plan on keepin the girl for a while (car I mean haha) otherwise then it will be a waste of cash. But sounds awesome buddy! hope it all works out! Just remember everyone always has there own opinion, seems like you already know what u want. Go for it.

Julz.
