Guys I've been going over my car and I can't find any compliance plates for the import. The ONLY plate on the car is the original japanese factory plate. Where should I expect to find a plate for my beastie? I'm quite worried now.

Could be anywhere, depending on compliancer. If it is registered, then I wouldnt worry, your rego papers should show your aussie VIN #, adapted from your Jap VIN #, if they all match then shouldnt be a problem.

Yep, if your rego papers show the VIN # starting with "6U900" and the rest matches the actual Nissan VIN on the build plate, then you have nothing to worry about.

If you are in Victoria and have recently had it complied, there will not be a plate.

The details will be stamped on the engine bay somewhere.

Purple sticker on the door pillar.

Complied about 18months ago in Vic.

Also got a blue stamped plate in the engine bay, maybe the original Nissan one.

Sure there was a plain aluminium one also, will double check that.
