may consider trades and or cash my way... I can't afford to outlay any more money then i already have.

Will trade for a R32 Golf (3 door, blue or black) or an STI. Both cars will have to be manual as i can't stand AUTO's!!!

2001 series 8 rx7 FD.

White (Bathurst white)

Manual

MAZDASPEED GT-C BODYKIT minus the wing (aftermart wing on)................. (VERY EXPENSIVE and VERY RARE and VERY SOUGHT AFTER!!!!!!)

GENUINE SPARCO LIGHTWEIGHT WHEELS....... (ONLY SET OF THESE IN AUSTRALIA.... and they are also VERY EXPENSIVE AND VERY RARE!!!)

TOYO T1R TYERS........ BRAND NEW!!!!!!!! $1300 worth in rubber (the next step from these super gripy tyers are semi slicks! these rubbers are FANTASTIC and you will get traction no matter where no matter the weather!

standard 13b twin turbo............ (unmolested!!! so there is no need for a rebuild every20thousand K's!........ )

The standard engine has the same power as the RB26 and if it is looked after, and well maintained there should be no reason for a rebuild!!! alot of ppl think that you have to rebuild them every few years or so many K's but thats all on how it's lookd after and driven. Give it a hit every now and then and you'll be right but foot to the floor all day every day and dont expect your engine to last...... same as any other car really!!!

aftermarket exhaust (kakimoto...... however you bloody spell it!!!)

aftermarket Carbon fibre gear knob from the states so you wont find this particular gear knob in AUS either.

40 thousand K's on clock...... (GENUINE)

11 months rego

Origional NARDI steering wheel (factory + airbag has been re-fitted and the Blue momo is in my garage) The Blue momo steering wheel is for sale aswell. $130.

40 thousand K service completed on 3/10/08

it's also got a full RHINO ALARM SYSTEM with remote start / Turbo timer / temp

grade 4.5 import

grade A interior

Which means that the car is in near PERFECT CONDITION!

It is a pleasure to own and drive and Looks HOT!!!! nothing on the road looks like it and it's a REAL HEAD TURNER!!!!!!

located in NSW... the shire...

$38000

FYI

A STANDARD RB FD RX7 in this good a condition and as low K's as i have sells in AUS for around the 32-35k mark (for those that are interested)...

Please DO NOT TELL ME I AM OVER PRICED! The kit and wheels total around 10k on their own.

Go have a look at the SERIES 8'S for sale on AUSROTARY or FD OWNERS or OZMAZDA or OZMAZDACLUB and you'll see that what i'm asking is right on the money and well worth it. Yes the cars on there will prob have big single turbo's or huge power and about 100 mods ect but they will prob come with problems due to the work or whatever!

Mine is problem free and i recon looks better too!

You'll see that at 38k for a RX7 in the condition mine is in, The low K's, the Wheels and BodyKit, ect, it's bloody worth it.

thankyou and i look forward to hearing from you.

Awesome looking FD, and an interesting but still great choice on next car. You looking at Mk4 or Mk5 R32's?

i'm not getting either one of those anymore!

i'm able to get my hot little hands on something that i hope will be very interesting when it's finished. alreadys sourced a few parts and have got abit still lying around from my last skyline that i'll chuck into this one.

i'll keep everyone updated on the build process but here is the link to my new plan and next car.

it's in the general auto section.

hey guys,

i'm etting plenty of interest but everyone is asking me to STRAIGHT swap for S15's and standard R32 GTR's! I've only had one bloke want to swap his modded GTR but as everyone can read i've got my own GTR that i have started to organise.

please and i don't mean to be rude but no STANDARD S15 or r32 GTR is worth nearly 38k. (unless it's one of the first to come off the factory floor and has super super super low K's!)

thankyou for the interest but i'm no longer interested in trading esp for a straight swap for a car that is worth LESS money then mine is worth.

I already have something that i've started to orgainse and prepare for. click the above link in the above post and you'll undertand y i am no longer willing to trade or swap!

thanks again

adam

    • Nope, but they are definitely one of the default choices. Well established.
    • Has anyone used > https://performancecoating.com.au/
    • Haha actually I did join back then under a different email address,  I couldn't re-activate my account so made a new one! I didn't post much anyway so not missing out on much. Amazing to see how the value of the cars and parts has changed over the years, also ACT section appears to be dead now.
    • Thanks... It's in pretty good condition overall, probably due to not being drifted/tuned however being a daily driver has taken its toll. Had 100k on the clock when I got it, up to 180k now. Unfortunately it's not 100% dent free, it's got a small dent on FLH side and broken indicator from where I hit a small kangaroo at high speed. If you look at closely at pic #5 you might spot the dodgy trailer light repair my old man and I rigged up as temporary repair! - It's still there due to a combo of needing the car as daily driver and then too lazy/busy to fix properly. I've a couple of other minor accidents accidents as well but nothing major. One required a new front bar and unfortunately the smash repairer ordered the normal gtst one and not the aero bar. Needed the car back asap so just went with it, regretted ever since.
    • I can't believe that anyone is foolish enough to believe that the base maps are for any other purpose than to drive the car up onto the trailer/truck or gently creep it to the dyno. No matter how good they are, they can never be any better than the factory maps**, and only the foolish trust those on a significantly modified setup. **Yeah, yeah. I know there's also the difference between factory maps being fixed to certain injector sizes and MAP/AFM/VE relationships, and the likely aftermarket ECU base maps being better able to handle the sorts of changes that would render a stock ECU dangerous, like different sized injectors. But let's just ignore that for the moment, because the principle is still the same.
