I just don't really get it... I mean, I have a descent R33 GTS-T at the moment. It handles great and has very descent power. My next upgrade next year or so would be a R34GTR.

I know some people who spend so much money making their GTS-T into a GTR or even more... why? Just buy a GTR?

To be honest, I was thinking of doing a RB26DETT implant myself... but in the end, decided against it... like UWISSH send... who spend the cash when we can upgrade to another plantform?

I see where you are coming from, but some ppl prefer RWD.

Some ppl like to drift, but I mean, some ppl like Keiichi Tsuchiya can drift 4WD.

Some ppl do it as a hobby and like to make a 'Sleeper' car.

Some ppl perfer the handling of RWD.

In fairness to the owner, the GTS-R logo was used by a number of aftermarket tuners in Japan who sought to re-create a modern version of the R31 version, and putting an RB26 into a GTS-t would make sense in that regard.

It's not an official version, but I suspect the owner genuinely believes it's something more special than what it is, rather than being outrightly deceptive. Super Autobacs is the Japanese equivalent of Autobahn.
