R34 GTR Rims

Hey

Anyone out there be able to tell me some info about the R34 GTR Rims please.

Are they light?

Are they alloy? can they be polished to a shinny look?

Also is there any way you can make them a diff colour like chrome them or something, i know this might sound stupid but im just wondering .

i was under the impression that the R34 GT-R wheels cost something like $8000 used?

I have seen a few go for about half that. I have seen them polished, looked pretty cool. Definately the best of the GTR wheels!

not sure if they are still there...but they looked nice...but they didnt have the caps for em. U can polish them up nice and u can power coat them or paint them whatever takes ya fancy...I still like the stock colour of them.

there r some r34 gtr copy rims that have the polished alloy/chrome look

i forget who had them.. maybe uas once had a set....

i did c them somewhere tho...

I've seen some on Nenguns site for like $2500. If they fitted properly on an R33 GTS-T i'd snap them in an instant.

they will fit a r33gtst but when you turn the front wheels may rub.

You mean if the car is lowered or inside on the suspension work somewhere ?

not sure exactly just i know with wider wheels they tent to rub on the inner guards when doing a full turn.

JMS has a chrome set on their Blue 180SX... very nice..

but the standard colour is the best...

What size are stock R34 GTR wheels and what size tyres do they take ?

18x9. 22 offset. i think they are going around 2500-3500 without tyre depends condition

im not real sure but i heard that they were titanium, they sound real tinny when you tap on them
