ohhhh My good i spent an hour cleaning my car at the car wash with the mrz helping me thank gOD! heheh

man the grease took ages to wash off and ill see all the damn spots i missed in the morning was a great day guys i loved it we should do it again sometime iam addicted :P

apart from cleaning my car we have to figure out a way to keep em clean lol

but yea was great, its amazing how much you learn in one day and how bloody tired you are afterwards .

:)

I agree with all of u - cleaning the car is a biatch.

I still havent completely washed off all the grease. What sort of detergent/car wash liquid u using? I using some dodgy stuff and it takes lots of scrubbing to get the grease off.

Yeah i was quite buggered after that day - going 100%.... spinning out haha. If u guys are up for it again - count me in.

Great meeting u guys as well - had a great time.

The proposed date for the next session is either Saturday 15th November or Sunday 16th November

SAU Skidpan Day 21-09-2003

(Participants on the day may contact me to obtain the original 5 Megapixel file(s))

Hi Paul,

Have your pics been somewhat enlarged than the original size? Cos in the small format it looks good but in 800x600 they look like been pixelated, even though each of your file (+/- 80kb) is larger than what I posted (640x480 @ +/- 50kb).

The only thing I did was resize them from 1024x768 to 800x600. I think its got something to do with the el'cheapo 2.5x digital zoom and only 16mb to work with. I set the resolution quality really low so I could take lots of pics. At 2MP I can only fit 8-12 pics on the 16mb card.

I've only had the camera a week and didnt really know what to expect from low quality settings. It was only ever supposed to be a happy snapper anyway. Clearly a bigger mem card is needed tho.

Ah, I understand now... I think resolution quality has little to do with it. The culprit is the 2.5x digital zoom. Even on my 5MP camera, as soon as I use digital zoom, the picture all start to get pixelated. That's why I would never use it with lower resolution.

I've seen results from my bro's 2MP camera, with no digital zoom the pic quality should be good enough...
