On Saturday, we had the SAU-NSW Texikhana event on, which was ONLY $40, and the only ones to show were Xmetal (who was on photographic duties), fat-lad and Coastal Chill (who came along to spectate after their trip to Ikea), and Jebud (who also came along to spectate, and brought the kids along).

Now, seeing as the rest of you ALL epic-failed to appear at the Texikhana, who is coming up this Thursday night?

My wedding anniversary tomorrow - shit better organise flowers

hmmm....you have so many things to learn Rookie!

.....I guarantee you could go to the meet and just pick up some flowers from 7/11 on the way home topping it of with the phrase "Honey sorry I am late but I had to search for these rare flowers all over Sydney for you" or alternatively just get a six pack on the way home and go for make up sex later when she is still angry!!! :)

So, who's coming to the coast tonight, or at least to the truck stop? If no-one's going along (or if whoever is there is going ALL the way to the coast), I might head up early to do some shopping at Erina.

Who's coming along??? This will be one of your VERY LAST chances to use this legendary, historic track EVER! It's being closed down at the end of this year, and will be demolished and replaced with a bloody housing estate. :ph34r:

Get in and track your car while you can - this is the Sunday of a long weekend, so make the most of it, people.

      KYBs are typically twin tube, putting them in the lower tier of desireability. Do you just want to replace worn out ones for the lowest cost? I mean, you wouldn't just replace one end of a car, if the rears are a similar age to the fronts, then they are probably nowhere near what they should be, and likely won't be great against brand new fronts. So, to spend ~$800 on 2nd tier dampers, when you could get a decent set of MCA coilovers for <$4k.....? As to the strut tops. 1st up, the Sparesbox site specifically tells you that they are not correct for an R33. Beyond that, why do you think you need them?

      Bringing an old thread back to life Looking to put some new front shocks in the r33Gtst and the KYB still look ok for a road car. Unless there are any other options aroind that price $200 a shock?  I’d like to replace the strut tops also, is this the correct KYB no.       LandCruiser used to get a fluid flush every 12 to 18 months.   Only because it was about that often the electric motor on the master for brake assist kept dieing and needing to come off.
