help: Apexi SAFC Installed before tune/dyno?

Helpp,

I installed the SAFC myself. Its currently set to default settings (selected the initialize YES mode). Will this be ok if i leave it for say 2 weeks? will it cause any damage to the car? Just kinda scare what this little baby might or can do to the car's engine.

I still need to book in a place to get it tuned and dyno...

Currently im waiting for a 2 stage boost controller and was planning to get it up to 10 psi and do the whole dyno thing at once.

If anyway can take away my stress that would be good..

Leaving it on zero is like not installing it, so it wont alter anything

You can get the SAFC 1 for around $400

G'day, Since were posting dyno graphs heres mine.

The green was running all the same mods other than the S-AFC.

That was running exaust, intercooler, and 12.5 pounds of boost.

The first one was the same but without the safc.

I just took out the safc and avcr so the car is runnin slower than that first sheet now.

But not for long!!

hint: zeroing the S-AFC and tucking it away is also a nice way to pass an EPA test without removing the thing...

Pred, surely a well-tuned S-AFC would help with emissions though? I mean yeah hide it if they're going to ask questions about it, but because it leans mixtures out, in theory that would mean it'll run cleaner.

The S-AFC helps but it's obviously not as good as the PFC at controlling emissions.

ie. a car that fails to pass on the AFC will in all likelihood pass with the FC... and a competant tuner.
