I am after a part number or sizing for the diff pinion seal in my skyline ...

Had it up on the hoist at work on friday and noticed that the diff pinion seal is weeping and spitting oil up around the diff in the rear end ...

I want to fix this asap as the car has no oil leaks other than this and I like to keep the car well maintained ...

The car is a 1992 Nissan Skyline HR32 GTS ( non turbo Automatic )

Went into CBC in fyshwick and they had no listing for a part number but said if I could get the sizing of the seal that they could match one up ...

I will either buy a genuine seal or get one from CBC I just need either part number or the sizing of the seal

your best bet is to call nissan direct...give them a vin etc so they no for what car...n tell the the part you need.

part will be genuine so you might have to pay a bit...so if thats not a goer...call some other workshops n have a look.

and...there are some threads on here that list nissan part numbers...do a search and that might give you some ideas

i have had myn replaced serveral times its a common thing with the nissan Diffs iv tried genuine and aftermarket and they keep poping or leaking let me know how you go as i need one that doesnt leak it isnt nice if ya get a defect and need to run it ova dickson
