R34 Gt-t Immobilizer?

Hi all,

I'm just about to get my hands on my imported r34 GT-T next week (finally, after 4 months). Only issue is that Just Car say that it has to have an immobilizer. Do stock GT-Ts have them? If not would would my compliance have fitted one in (i've yet to confirm it with them)?

Off the top of my head, R34 GT-ts have remote central locking but no immobiliser. I doubt it would have been fitted in compliance unless you specifically asked for it.

yes they don't come factory immobiliser.. however you are buying a second hand car.. wait to see what is in the car.. then if not they are cheap enough to get one installed.. personally i'd upgrade the alarm to have one with immob. included

doesnt the series 2 have a immobilizer? i have to put my clutch in or the car wont start[not sure if that is it]

^^Just a safety feature to stop you starting in gear and putting it into a wall. Hyundai Excels have the same thing lol.

The R34 GT-T has a factory immobilizer.

It's pictured here at the end of this loom..

Also you need a bypass kit if you hope to install remote start on the vehicle. The bypass is a barstard of a job, but Chris Roger's was able to do it.
