when i had my r33, i hated how the a/c only went to 18*C, i want colder!!! when it was warmish outside, it wouldn't blow cold air, only cool but when its stinking hot, the a/c gave me frostbite -_-

Well i am not sure if r33 is same as r32, but on r32 if you get to 18 and hold the cold button it goes to like f/cold or sumthin like that... also if u go to 32 and hold hot if goes to f/heat.

I'm not sure the car was designed for Australian conditions, ...at all.

Lol I'm surprised no-ones had a rage at the R32s dash air-vents

or should i say lack of as theyre always f*cking broken!!!

and yea, getting pulled over all the time, never got pulled over in my past 2 cars (still "boyracer" cars, lowered, mags, exhaust, bov etc etc) yet the 1st night my skyline goes out i get pulled over 3 times lol

its not just r32's that have broken air vents, this is a common nissan issue from that generation of cars. my n14 pulsar being one of them.

*EDIT* what i really hate is the foggy/yellow scratched effect inside the headlights. i need them cleaned this weekend

R33 GTS-t seriesII

74000km's

hee hee, funny read, by the sounds of it some of you need to sell your skyline and buy a brand new golf.

-turning circle?? 10.4 metres from what ive read, thats pretty good for a car thats as long as a bus.

-ive only had it for a week and already getting the hang of parking it

the only complaints -i got is second is a bit hard to get on a cold morning the first few shifts( gearbox oil change happening very soon)

-and a few tiny rattles in the drivers side dash and door, but these are only noticeable with windows closed and no music

-as for ride, yes its stiff, but id rather have the occasional hard jolt than roll around the cabin for half a km after the bump

-getting it up my drive way, stupid monster country roads, and the long overhang on the front bar doesnt help

i live in QLD about 380km, off the coast and west up the warrego highway, truckies call it the goat track :), so i was really surprised when i managed the whole trip without being a bit sore afterwards LOL ( dead standard suspension)

Year:1994

Model: R-33 Skyline Gts-t Coupe

Trans: Manual

Fault/cons: always something wrong with it,cop bait even as stock, commodore owners.

Comments:

seriously there is always something wrong with this car,i get the problem fixed and another problem takes its place.

cops chase me when they see me,pull me over, pop the hood, let me go its a joke.

wankers in their pieces of shit v6 commodores revving their cars at me or trying to race me,clearly they have no chance in hell but im not into street racing-im not a hoon!

other than those problems i still love my car.

maaan, I love my car to bits! But then again, it's not a daily and wasn't built as such :P

Only problem I have are the headlights going yellow. I like a tidy car and that always seems to happen.

Other then that, I like the power, I like the response, I like the street presence, I LOVE the sound... My car is low, rock hard, farken loud, bucket seated (mounted high, quite handy, look into it) and blardy fun to drive!

I think I've spent time fixing just about every single problem mentioned in this thread...

mmm...my turn.

1997 R33 GT-R (Series 3)

-Cons:

-After buying the car a week ago the fuel pump already needs replacing - thank god for warranty.

-Low front bar makes parking/driving up and down most standard driveways

-Shoddy roads in my suburb make my suspension emo.

-Idiots in commodores always trying to race it from the lights.

-Gearshifts jerky of a cold morning until engine warms up completely.

Everything else is fine. Lovez my GT-R.

im happy for you =D

and id like to believe that was true...hopefully after all the fuelling gear is looked at i wont have a problem with the GTR...it gets nothing but the best from me...so heres hoping hey?

i hate the fact that i still havent found a set of r34 gtr rims for her!

other than that i am still in love, well over 2 years down the track

I have one, since ours are the same year...dunno bout the 32s and such.

Hazard lights and rear demister are not even dimly backlit. So its like groping in the dark at night and hoping you hit the right one.
