any ways guys i've run into a few problems with my skyline pretty much last couple of oil changes there has been a small amount of metal shavings, and i have now had my exhaust manifold gasket destroyed thanks to a few certain bolts snaping as they wernt replaced when this motor was installed so i'v come to the conclusion that in gona stick a neo rb25det in my 33 and be done with it, Now who would be the best to source one of these motors form?? and what do you guys reckon about neo

why get a neo? just get a normal 33 RB25.

its the second rb25 this skyline been through, so far i know the neo has better heads and there a better motor to my knowledge

If its the second one you have been through id be asking myself why. Neo isnt any stronger plus its a lot more.

Why did the other to die?

the previous owner killed it with a bad fuel pump, which nearly did this motor as well till i had it fixed about 6 months ago

Neo has GTR rods and similar head to a GTR
