Ok, got a little problem :P

Basicly have a R34 with a NEO in it, now the problem is when i plat it and hit 4600rpm to about 5000rpm the revs seem to like stick and slowly creep up and hit a stand still  kinda like a rev limiter sort... it's hard to explain but if any-1 knows roughly what im talking about and point me in the right direction to get it fixed that would be good

whats your timing like?? and what is the tune doing at those rpms?? assuming youve had the neo tuned of course.. the ecu maybe retarding the timing due to some issue with the tune.. also probs worth getting a new 02 sensor, their like $100 give or take and will be worthwhile for peace of mind.. afm probs usually show in the first 2500rpm... after that its mainly 02 sensor, but afm is still needed. give it clean and a check over.

also what sort of time frame are you talking when you say slow... you mean like the revs rise normal, then it takes 5 sec for the revs to get up to 5000 or is it a very small time frame??

cheers

Linton

the car is running standard ECU, it has not been tuned, the car has been doing it as long as i have had it, i have put a FMIC and turbo back exhaust on it, it's hard to explain. It's like a rev limiter that comes on under load at about 4600RPM to around 5500rpm :P

ok

just had a read of the sticky thread
