Rocky88
Just give him a break guys... he used to be a Skyline owner and now when he had to sell it he just wanted to give you guys a bit of an update about what he's driving now. Don't see anything wrong with that. Some of you guys would start a new topic just to say that you're bored and now you're so shocked cause someone started topic about other car than skyline... geez Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/243668-i-present-you-my-shopping-trolley/page/2/#findComment-4246597 Share on other sites
nos man
Anyway, if dovla can drive, this froggy girl's car would hand your arse to most Skyline drivers on here through Chain of Ponds these little cars don't require as much skill and experience as high powered rwd! so to amatuers like me it'll run rings around me! i know for a fact when i get into a little fwd like a ET, starlet i can drive it alot faster than my skyline! the car is predictable but of course in the hand s of a pro it'll be different Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/243668-i-present-you-my-shopping-trolley/page/2/#findComment-4246678 Share on other sites
Cain
mate i love these little cars, so much fun. and when your near the edge. under steer is so much safer in a average driver then over steer. Plus look at the mods he has done. Quality components. The styling of these cars is very personal opinion. But cant deny the quality is there. Im in the market for the net set of tyres too, probably going for yokos s.drive Tangles - getting the exhaust finished soon, HF cat and SS piping to the remus muffler. AndrewJZX100
Looks like a fun little machine. I wouldn't know how to drive it because all my cars have been RWD, but I bet it'd be ridiculous amounts of fun to punt through the hills Not to mention I can't see it chewing down the fuel like our cars Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/243668-i-present-you-my-shopping-trolley/page/2/#findComment-4246980 Share on other sites
dovla
Yeah not as hard on the fuel as my R33 was, i average around 9l daily driving, bit more when i take it for the walk Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/243668-i-present-you-my-shopping-trolley/page/2/#findComment-4247000 Share on other sites
R31 drift pig
Do they make them for men? I kid.... awesome for a FWD pocket rocket! And the fuel savings would be handy too. GOnna sound nuts with the ITB's too. Maybe look for a set of angry cams too.... its not how you stand by your car, its how you race your car. It's not how you race you're car.... but how you stand next to it beforehand. I live my life a quarter mile at a time... ...Nothing else matters... I live my life a quarter pounder at a time. CRoNic...
Chef, you have some sort of fetish for cars with at least one panel black or white. Chaser = White. Civic = White with Black bonnet. GTR = White with Black bonnet. RX7 = Black. Hmmm... whatsisname
A friend and ex-work colleague of mine owns a Renault Clio Sport Cup 182. It's a great little car, looks quite good in the flesh, and certainly would surprise a few people, with it's capabilities. And anyone who doubts the fun that can be hand in a small little Euro' based hatch needs to take a quick spin in a GT / TSI VW Golf, don't let the 1.4L capacity fool you, the TSI (VW speak for twin charged - yes, it's turbocharged and supercharged) engine is a little ripper. The way the little FWD GT Golf can rocket off the line had me laughing my arse off quite a few times! Peak torque of 240Nm from 1200rpm to 5000+rpm, in a small capacity yet lightweight package, equals plenty of economical fun. (OO)Firty Free(OO)
I remember reading a wheels article on the Clio and they had nothing but praise for the little beast. Not my cup of tea but if everyone liked the same car we would all be driving bombadores or falchoons. I actually quite like the look of the Megane also not a bad looking bus in my eyes be good for the Mrs. Nice choice in hot hatches mate must be fun to punt in the twisty stuff.
