Guys,

I set up this account using an email addy from an old workplace.

I no longer work there or have access to the email account.

I have forgotten my password.

I want to change:

1. my email address; and

2. reset my password.

I cannot do one without the other and I have neither.

Can someone please reset my email address from (old account) to (new account).

So I can then reset my password.

PEEERLLLLLEEEEAAASSSEEEEE

Ummm... how are you writing this if you don't know your password? Is it saved in your web-browser?

If so, you may be able to retrieve it that way...

^^ What he said.

You're able to log into the account and the IP matches your previous posts, and the emails appear to go to the same person (ie you're not asking for [email protected] to go to [email protected]). I've updated your email address as requested because I'm a nice guy  - this should allow you to reset the password. I'll edit the emails out in a sec.

fanks man, yep it is saved in my web browser.....

Which browser? If it's FireFox, you can go Tools > Options > Security > Saved Passwords > Show Passwords and it will show you the stored passwords for each site.

safari? probably could but meh, sorted now thanks to a nice man,,,,,,

I assume that's safari on Mac OSX? If so, you can see all the passwords that you have stored in the keychain. Just open up Keychain Access in your utilities folder. Once you launch Keychain Access, just find the SAU url in the list and then click on the little 'Show Password' button. You might be asked your password that you have set up for Keychain Access (which AFAIK is usually the same as your login password). You should then be able to see your password.

Anyway, it's good to hear that it's all sorted now.
