this is probably more effective being posted in the victoria section.

but join exclusive, they're a great bunch... went to school with quite a few of the founding boys and know em well, events are well organised, the cars are pretty good and the people are real friendly.

mccr... well...

Its a bit of a stupid question to ask in a skyline forum where each state has their own skyline "club" so to speak. What do you think we're going to say?

VIC forum members regularly have cruises and the like. .. go the VIC area..sheech..

Do you like being defected?

yep.

couldn't agree more. Stay away. It's more trouble than it's worth.

Come on our cruises (i'm organising at lot at the moment) not hassles from police ever!

That's in over a year now too :) They know of us and leave us along, unlike 'other' clubs.

We also stay clear of doing stupid crap and we're not a club held together by a battle of egos.. which means there is no reason for them to actually hassle us.

Anyway, come on a cruise with us, they're fun :) Its great seeing some 20-30 skylines of all different types cruising down the highway.. its a great sight!

My friend is an active member with "Exclusive". I actually took my car to one of their meets. Was a good day, with a diverse range of cars and very organised.

Personally, as i am from the west, i will stay with "SAU" and "Northern Street Cruizers". As previously stated, we have a great bunch of people and are quite organised.

Lately the members on this forum have been organising a few events and also about to kick off an offical club (one day soon).

    • All of your suspension bushes/bolts etc, should also only ever be tightened when the car is sitting with full weight too.   IE, jack it back up, shove a heap of stuff down so you can lower the wheels onto so the car is "on the ground" but you have room to get under it.   It's why when properly done, you should be able to remove the shock and spring, but the arms won't go to 100% droop. If you don't do the above, you'll destroy your bushes.

    • These arrived today! Sadly I'm going to probably be smart and enjoy the car as is over the summer/sunny period and save the ~2 weeks downtime it'd take to swap the heads over and tune later in the year. Maybe. It's going to be pretty damn tempting seeing these bolt on funs just sitting in storage when they're ready to go. There's a non-zero chance I end up @The Bogan'ing it.
