RS4StagMan
I need to replace some tired tie rod ends in the Series 2. I have searched and found that that some were going to use R33 GTR ones, but the threads do not have any feadback beyond that- - if they fitted up OK? - if there were any problems with wheel alignment, tyre wear etc? I can get the originals from Nissan Aust ($89 each in stock) or Burson's have aftermarket ones for under $30 each. What have other people used as replacements? The LH front one seems to go before the RH one. Is it just worth replacing both at the same time? Are the R33GTR ones the same as the R33GTST ones? Anyone with wheel alignment specs for a stock Stagea? Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/243864-stagea-series-2-4wd-tie-rod-ends/ Share on other sites

66yostagea
With S/H ones, be careful, I went thru a long battle til I got the correct one. If possible with new or used take the original with you. RS4StagMan
With S/H ones, be careful, I went thru a long battle til I got the correct one. If possible with new or used take the original with you. OK I finally had the LH outer tie rod replaced on the Series 2 Stagea (1998 4WD). This is what fits- Nissan genuine part No: 48520-23U26, cost was $87. City Nissan Melbourne- parts centre Tel (03) 8383-8844. The R33GTR aftermarket ones that were tried both did not fit! (Tried from Bursons and Repco). Why is it that the LH outer always goes before the RH one?
