Bent Intake Manifold On R32 Gtr

I am doing a dummy assembly of my RB26 at the moment. As I was putting the intake manifold (just the section after the throttle bodies) onto the head, I noticed that the outer ports lined up with the head, but the 4 inner ports weren't. It appeared to have a bend in the intake manifold. It is parallel and flat where it has been machined and the dowels are in the head.

If I can straighten the casting then all of the intake runners will line up nicely with the head ports.

has anyone seen this before? Is there a fix for it?

i just assemblied my rb26/7 last weekend but i didnt notice any bends inside...

everything lined up perfectly...

the first pic is the front 2 ports, the next is the middle and last one is port 5 and 6. See the missmatch?

i see, now i know exactly what ur talkin about... mine looks nothing like that..

no idea how ur gonna fix that..

Its called match porting, and nissan usually does a bad job of it
