bubba
No-one can clarify anything because the law doesn't exist yet, if ever. gersfan
ahh i see what does everyone think the odds are that cars will be confiscated and sold ? Just for owning a powerful car when the laws come in? Very, very unlikely IMO. dan_the_man
ahh i see what does everyone think the odds are that cars will be confiscated and sold ? 20 to 1. but seriously we have no way of knowing until the Bill is passed and commences. s2k12
If you have the car in your name before the law is passed, you can get an exemption, assuming they do it the same as all the other states. I think I am going to lose my license for 3 months.. What I want to know is.. When I lose my license do I do my learners again? If so is it the whole thing like driving test / log book / hpt ? s2k12
Why were you doing 101kph in a 50kph zone? Yeah, you have to start right from the beginning if you're on P's. Also, 6 months is the minimum for hoon law, which is what 51kph over the limit is considered. So I doubt you'd get out of it with only 3 months. Also, not sure if you have to be on phase 2 for 6 months like everyone else, but I believe you do. *insert rant about how drink driving is a lesser penalty and it shouldn't be here* Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/244014-an-amicable-discussion-on-p-platers-and-the-law/page/8/#findComment-4113085 Share on other sites

bubba
Yes, suspension on your P's = cancelled and start again from scratch. I had to do it many years ago and the second time doing the practical was more nerve wracking that the first! bubba
lol I used to be a bit silly.. sensible but still silly.. lost it from points anyway, it was just the final 6pt straw that broke the camels back I have calmed down a LOT in the past few years, haven't had a fine in god knows how long! heh The SECOND time I sat for my license, was just as they were bringing in the 2years+logbook stuff. To this day I can't figure out how they came to the conclusion I had to be on my 2nd P's for 15months and 8 days.. I had three weeks to go on my P's the first time Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/244014-an-amicable-discussion-on-p-platers-and-the-law/page/8/#findComment-4114568 Share on other sites
