Yeah, these things are the rage in Japan at the moment....but they do get sold for between $5 & $30USD from what I've seen.

I've got an article in last month's issue of Option magazine where they Do a power run before & after it's installed. It only gives 1 or 2 extra rwhp, but it will definately increase fuel efficiency & maintain a constant voltage throughout the car.

HKS & a few different jap tuning houses make their own version of them.....

so is this pretty much an earthing kit in a box?? ive done the basic earthing stuff to my car (engine block ,turbo, alternator) and noticed it was alot smoother in general to drive.

so is this thing similar to the power capacitors on monster sound systems? does it do the same shsit? hold constant 13v or wateva?

As Zero mentioned, I was thinking that a bigass capacitor would do the same thing. In fact that's all it might be in that metal box Although there may be some complicated voltage regulator type thing in there. But I doubt it is worth $450, especially if other people are selling them for US$30.
