custom vs brand exhaust

eriktufa, the exhaust shop is making the cat-back up for $300, including labour. Front dump was $250 and hi-flow cat was $300.

I just got a 3" dump pipe, hi flow cat, into a 2.75" from cat back. Topped off with a remus muffler (which is the bling bling muffler in the euro muffler world) 2nd hand for $600.

Only 2 years old and still in good nick.

All Stainless.

what is the different betweeen cat back and hi flow cat?

cat back means the whole of the exaust from the catalyc converter to the barrel of the muffler itself

-full exhaust is from the turbo or dump pipe

high flow cat is usually bigger than normal cats

try to get someone to make a custom exhaust that sits higher up,because your car's low and keep it that way heheh

Erik think back to when I explained, over about 10 PM's, the difference between the front, dump and cat back pipes.

yeah, i got that, i just don't understand at the first place the difference between cat and hi flow cat that's all

Hi flow cats flow more that all.... I have heard they are a bit of a crock tho. All the really are is a normal cat with a bigger flange on them, allowing bigger pipes.

But at the end of the day i dont really know.
