Possibly, but not absolutely, after a flat battery (blue slip place left the ignition on all

afternoon!) my MFD displays oil temp as "--" at start and after a drive and, well, all the time.

Is that a dodgy sender that happened to go at the same time as the battery,

or is this something configurable?

My battery went flat after leaving the parkers on (all night). But afterwards, the MFD (oil temp included) never played up like that!

Just hope that it's configurable. BTW, what does the bar graph display?

Now that i re read your post, you might have to reset the sensors, do all your sensors work at the moment on the display?

I just found the problem. The blue slip place (I'd asked them to replace the oil filter)

butchered it getting it off, and in the process broke, or de-attached, the oil temp

sender wire or plug ..

V. Sloppy!

They took >2 hours out of your life!

And that means a lot when you're on DEATH ROW!!!!
