standard ECU is Nissan ECU.

Depending on what mods you have or are going to get will dictate what ECU you should get, whether a piggy back (eg SAFC) or replacement (eg PFC).

Once you start modding you will probably get the bug and want to keep going, so may as well opt for PFC straight out. If you are likely to go for big power, go straight for a d-jetro to save the cost of having to upgrade AFM's, which will be needed over about 250RWKW give or take. At approx $300 ea for Z32's or equiv, the d-jetro only being about $300 or so over the regular L-jetro, you may as well opt for d-jetro straight out as long as you have a good tuner.

Difference being d-jetro does away with AFM and tunes using map sensors, thus removing a restriction on the air intake side of turbos....

thanks mate...very useful info..

I googled it and with the 1996 ecu they had 3 different types of standard nissan ecu's... (correct me if im wrong) shrugs.. thanks anyways
