I ran a ryco panel filter and made upwards of 300rwkw.

Recently dropped in a BMC panel filter; induction is a tad louder.

Where did you get ur bmc panel filter?

so all this talk of pod filters, is really not true?

they dont have a huge benefit?

I have a modded airbox. 100mm CAI cut in to the bottom of the airbox that leads in to the front inner bumper. This isn't possible to do with the R33's.

If you can setup a good CAI in to the stock R33 airbox I'd say its easily good for 300rwkw and better for hot weather.

I've tried a pod in the past and found a very noticeable difference in warm weather. The car noticeable feels gutless with slower spool.

All though the 3ltr masks it I don't notice a great deal of power difference in hot weather.

Autobarn. $113 from memory.

Was an impulse purchase. Went in for the usual ryco spotted these and thought bugger it. Its about time I spent some $$ on an air filter lol.

How long has this air box vs pod filter debate gone on for?! Hahaha...

Some say there's barely any difference when driving at speed, but when stationary, sure - a unshielded pod will be sucking up air which is 70+ degree's. Pod + shield + snorkel = win.
