If you have your own small business, can you write off train tickets, shoe reciepts, plane tickets on tax? :(

You can write off train tickets if it your means of travelling from one job to the other, but if its just a form of you getting to work then no.

If you are a tradie and require to have steel capped boots or something like that then yes you can deduct that on tax, office shoes and what now cant be deducted.

Plane tickets - i dont think so, not 100% sure on that one.

you can deduct office shoes if they have the business logo on them...lol same as your prada suit, you can wack your business logo on that too. Thats my understanding of how it works. stops people claiming luxury atire for business.

yeah train tickets only if its job to job not home to work and back cause i guess your technically clocked out maybe? Ive been claiming paid parking when i go see suppliers/clients because i work from home so its technically from business to business. does this sound correct or am i doing it wrong?

yeah, you can claim plane tickets, if the purpose of the trip was for business purposes (including conferences/seminars) then its ok.
