Sorry I meant X-Force, that special JJR had on the SAU forum around 1 year ago.

Ah, thought as much ;)

I believe you will find the Catco cats to be far superior to the X-Force ones as far as quality is concerned.

I DONT GIVE A RATS ARSE ;) , METAL CATS ARE THE WAY TO GO , TRY MAGNA FLOW , I'VE USED THEM FOR YEARS NOT A PROBLEM HIGH FLOW , , YOU GET A GOOD WACK ON A CERAMIC CAT WHILE THERE HOT , EG SPEED HUMP OR THE LIKES AND THEY CAN CRACK INSIDE , THEN THERE ON THERE WAY OUT S/S FULL METAL CAT FOR ME YES SIR REE !!!!!!! :(

i bought my catco hi flow one off a group buy here a while back and it looks nothing like the pic previously posted, no heatshield housing just a big ass shiny metal buldge. So I'm not sure if you guys are looking at a lower flow rate catco one. the flow rate of my one from memory is higher than the JJ catco one, and it costed more too.

Thats because the one you bought would have been a Catco Metal Cat, which looks like this:

catcometcattype2.jpg

The Catco 3" Ceramic Cat flows 428 CFM ($175.00) and the Catco Metal Cat flows 706 CFM ($440.00)

my car keeps converting cats to Cadbury Flake's... Crumbles to pieces  I hope this one lasts longer then the old one, i cannot keep replacing them like this!!

The last one was non existant inside, the one before that was in a million pieces and was blocked.

I only use them to keep defects away, when i race the car i run de-cat pipes. if your cat is destroyed and exits out the exaust pipe do you still cop the fine?

Guys, I can confirm this cat passes emissions.

I was tested and passed with half the maximum CO2 levels required by laws. I would recommend this cat if your wanting to pass emissions and didn't notice a loss of power either.

If i were to go another cat I'd definitely go metal cat purely cause I'm sick of normal and high flow cars blocking up (had this happen on both cars of mine). The ceramic high flows all seem to be much of a muchance - they all look quite similar as well!
