Just wondering if anyone had a good, foolproof method of removing the pulley, I will be tearing down the block tomorrow and this is my first job for the day. I have found a guide on removing it, the guy basically levers it off with a pinch bar, but I am a bit worried that I might crack the oil pump. The other options are heating it up, which I though might be a more sensible approach - but I was just wondering if anyone had a better way, or can confirm a good way of removing it

This is the link to the guide I found if you are curious. Thanks kindly in advance

crack the bolt unbolt it and put the bolt back in and turn it a couple of turns, then spray it all over with CRC, let it soak and wiggle it and knock it with ur palm of ur hand and just keep rockn it and it should give eventually. Otherwise u will need to get a puller. u MIGHT be able to get a flathead behind it and gently leaver slightly against the oil pump but thats basically it.
