Well each to their own... from experience, the sale of NEO motors have never been an easy task (I've personally sold 2 now, one complete and one not so complete)

Electronics, I'm pretty sure you'll have a few things more than just the temp gauge not working.

And one of these guys is doing the conversion to an Auto - what's your solution to that one? And please don't say take the box out and replace with a manual...

Hmmm I'm in the same predicament, I want to remove the Neo and swap in an RB26DETT and actually sell the entire complete Neo to someone that is interested. What would it take to use the RB26DETT harness on my GTT? I have a manual BTW and would like to use my RB25DET gearbox also.

Any more input guys, I am picking up a damaged RB26DETT and planning on using the RB26DETT head on my RB25DET Neo. Gonna try and do a twin turbo setup same time and use a map setup if the MAF setup is giving trouble. Does anyone know how I can go about fitting the DETT head to the Neo block, main thing I am concerned about is the headstuds situation and not wanting to bors out the block to the RB26DETT headstuds size and retap. I am hearing talks that the N/A RB25DE headstuds work proper as they are the right length and pitch. Can someone confirm please.

Also, can the RB26 sump be modded to work on the RB25 block as well i.e. ends cut and shut and baffle installed?

hey very easy conversion use your

25 engine mounts and brackets

25 gearbox

25 sump with modified pick up and to hold more oil

send your loom to kev rowley nissan guru i sent my 26 loom to him to fit into a s15 everything works

you send him both looms and hell send it back and you plug it in.

you will have a problem with the temp gauge use the 25 water temp sender on the rb26

for cooler piping i just bought a univrsal kit from ebay and just cut it to fit looks fine.

pm if you want kevs number
