Apparently Croydon racing developemts have just released a New brand NITO. i have never heard of these parts and being a new Brand name Thought i should ask the question.

Is anyone using any NITO internal patrs on their SR/RB or have you heard of this brand?

some parts i looked at for the rb;

NITO, billet not forged rods (i beam) with arp bolts $1390

NITO, Oil pump Special (Strengthened gearing) $1390

just parts no labour, if you look at the tomei oil pumps there something like $2200 cause the Aussie $.

so i thought these parts arent priced to badly??

Well, their rods are off the price. The oil pump is a bit more reasonable, although JUN is close to that money

Hopefully they do a stroker kit at a decent rate

agreed on the rods, should still be able to pick up a jun pump cheaper than there nitto from the right people.

anyone know if they are an alloy billet rod or 4340 billet rod tho?

i think they were saying it was aircarft billet materials or something.

I would be interested to see how Nitto Rods would compare against Autech, especially with the cost difference.

I-Beam Nitto's for RB for $1390, or I-Beam Autech Rods & ARP Bolts for $799.........

i have used thier gear in SR's for a while as many customers supply thier own internal kits, the rods are ust the same as all the other taiwanse gear.

im thinking about going with the Nitto oil pump my engine builder recommended. he says the way they were tested for strength was they were put up against other oil pumps of the same drive type (std/n1 etc) and revved to 14,000rpm. he told me the other ones barely made it past 8-9000rpm where the Nitto was going strong after its time at 14,000rpm.

he also showed me a Nitto crank shaft which weighed at least 1.5 times more than a standard one and is intended to rev to 9000rpm. it was a chunky piece of kit though.

you would be better of getting a decent harmonic balancer to soak up the oil pump smashing vibrations from your rb30 crank.
